L.A.A.M. has been in business for over 29 years serving the Solano/Napa County communities by providing support to needy mothers and families. Staffed by volunteers and totally supported by donations, L.A.A.M. has been centrally located in Vallejo and serves an average of approx. 100-200 clients monthly.
Life…Abortion Alternative Ministries (L.A.A.M.) is dedicated to assisting women to carry their babies to term by providing emotional, spiritual, and practical support as God provides the resources. Our ministry believes that it is the right of every pregnant woman or girl to carry her baby to term and give birth and the right of every conceived child in the womb to be born.
L.A.A.M. volunteers and donors don’t just pray for our community, they put their lives into the ministry by helping families with the practical aspects of an ongoing increased cost of day to day living. Our practical support allows our families to stretch their minimal financial resources.
L.A.A.M. provides various items (FOR FREE) such as, but not limited to, the following:
Additionally, giveaways are setup during certain times of the year, such as, Christmas, Easter, and Mother’s Day.
We are a completely volunteer organization. The board members and staff are not paid. However, we do need funds to pay for rent, utilities, advertising, insurance, etc. We rely on donations from individuals, churches, organizations, and businesses to meet our financial needs.
We are a 501c3 non-profit organization and therefore donations are tax-deductible.
Additionally, we accept non-monetary donations, such as the items noted above. (We appreciate gently used & clean maternity clothes, baby and children clothes, toys and books.)
